Ah, don't be afraid of asking questions; if you ask a question, you get an answer, and in my opinion there's NEVER such a thing as a stupid question. If you don't know, you don't know, right? Not your fault. It's smarter to ask the question and find out the answer, rather than assuming something and finding out you were wrong the entire time later.

A forum is just another term for a place where people can gather, meet, and interact with each other on a specific premise. FFADJL Forums, for example, is a gathering place for people who enjoy Disney's American Dragon: Jake Long. Another forum - let's take my main forum, Project EVO Forums, for an example - may be a place where people who enjoy Gaming and Anime meet and converse with each other. Most online forums have other things beside the main topic for members to enjoy themselves with, such as the SJL RP here, but the fact remains that the main focus of a forum is the reason people go there. You wouldn't go to an Anime forum to discuss a game of checkers, am I right =D
